STAIRS Seminar

The monthly STAIRS seminar gives doctoral researchers participating in the STAIRS program the opportunity of further interdisciplinary exchange.

In the seminar, each doctoral researcher will give several talks at different stages of their doctoral studies. Another doctoral researcher will take over the role of the discussant. He or she will have to read the paper in advance and create slides with questions and feedback, based on which a discussion with the audience will take place. This way, the STAIRS seminar provides feedback and support from other doctoral researchers during all phases of the doctoral degree.

In order to reduce the time effort, the STAIRS seminar and the TRR research seminar will be arranged in a row on the same days at the same location. While attendance in person of all participating doctoral researchers is expected, a hybrid alternative is offered for members who cannot reasonably travel to the event.
