STAIRS Seminar reflects on program development

The event, which was well attended with over a dozen participants from the STAIRS program, featured an interactive feedback session. Participants associated STAIRS not only with additional workload, but also with companionship, interdisciplinary exchange, and enjoyable shared experiences, such as the TRR 391 Summer School in 2025. While the organization of workshops was rated positively overall, the perceived quality of content varied. Many expressed a wish for more social interaction to strengthen connections within the cohort and suggested slightly reducing the number of workshops.
Regarding future topics, programming skills were mentioned most frequently, alongside soft skills such as frustration management. The seminar provided valuable input for the continued development of the STAIRS program.
